Women's life during WARS in the 20th Century

 Women's life during wars in  the 20th Century.

 

       Before the war, women typically played the role of the homemaker. But their life was totally changed after the wars. All of men are forced to enter the military to protect their country. It was beginning of women start to enter in society.

      

        First, Society need manpower to continue to develop agriculture. but there are no men. Women have no choice to work in factory instead of men. Common war shows women do men's work like  transport industry, machine work or Construction industry. Society also want women to work for the military. They made propaganda to encourage women to participate in Navy and Marine Corps. Another reason why society need women in military is because they need nurse. There are many people who get diseases, injury and damaged form the war. women can take care and cure them in the military. US made " The Army Women’s MedSpecialist Corps" to help another country during war.

    

       Second, Soliders need toy to play during the war. They need someone who can fill their desires. women get deceived about having job and forced into the soilder's sexual excitement. Korean's comfort women is one of the biggest issue on this part. Also number of  prostitutes was increasing during the war.

 

        Women have poor life in 20th century. Some women lose thier husband and have duty to nurture their children. It was not easy to women carry this harsh circumstance by themselves. But little change was occure to women during revolution. Women can participate in society shows women would play a more important role in society. Through the  Cuban Constitution shows society try to give rights for women and women also try to protect themselves.
